The women will gather at the church (bring your lunch if you like) to create a piece of metal jewelry. They will begin by exploring the meaning and use of various symbols and shapes. Then each woman will express her creative Spirit and Sisterhood by designing and fabricating her own individual piece of beautiful art jewelry. Each participant in this “hands on” workshop will use metalsmithing techniques and hand tools to transform a piece of raw copper or brass and various gauges of wire.
